The Awraad of the Tariqa Burhaniya Disuqiya Shadhuliya presents a collection of verses, remembrances, and rituals respected within this spiritual tradition. This Tariqa was pioneered by Sidi Imam Fakhr Al-Din Sheikh Muhammad Othman Abdu Al-Burhani, who played a significant role in its dissemination across Sudan, Egypt, and other Arab and Islamic nations. His successor, Maulana Imam Kamal Al-Din Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Muhammad Othman Abdu Al-Burhani, further expanded its reach globally, particularly throughout Eastern and Maghreb countries. Subsequently, Mawlana Imam Sheikh Muhammad Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Muhammad Othman Abdu Al-Burhani oversaw a period of significant growth for the Tariqa.

The methodology of this Tariqa emphasizes a divine call towards the rejuvenation of the individual Muslim through dedicated practices performed both day and night. These practices include:

1. The conclusion of the prayers, comprising a series of praises and supplications recited after each obligatory prayer.
2. The basis, which refers to specific rosaries recited in the morning and evening.
3. Awraad Marbota, a collective reading performed twice daily.
4. The Hezab Sifi, a supplication honoring Imam Ali, may God honor him.
5. Various other Hezabs attributed to Sayyid Abul-Hassan Al-Shazly and Sayyidna Uwais Al-Qarni.

These spiritual practices serve to purify the soul and enhance the light within one's heart, thereby influencing an individual's behavior and moral compass. Such engagement cultivates love for God, His Messenger (peace be upon him), his family, and all humanity.
